Carson was never into his baby food but once he started

to get real food he just doesn't think he has ever had

quite enough.

I thought I would just give him a bite and let him

try it, see if he could eat it off the cob.

he wanted to try it himself LOL

ohhh man like we never feed him!

RJ lost his job...

So RJs company Call Tower that he has

been working for for almost 5 years now

with no raise for almost 4 years now.

Decided they are going to outsource RJs

department, see ya! RJ has devoted so

much into this company it makes me sick

he does a side job for them that he doesn't

get paid extra for, he has stayed up till 3AM

finishing OTHER PEOPLEs assignments

so that the company doesn't look bad.

He spent his whole summer last year out

in California doing installs for them even

though that is not his job and his wife was

7,8 and 9 months pregnant, severly anemic and

had the 2 other kids to care for but we thought

it would be best if he could do all he could for the

company to make sure they knew how reliable RJ

was for them! They claim that they are sick about

losing him and that they would keep him on if there

was a spot there for him but it's really hard to believe.

We have found out that with the experience RJ has he

could be making a lot more then he is now anyways so

who knows what will come of this. We are trying to

stay positive and hope for the best but it is hard.

so RJ called me told me what happened and I had

Kylee and Austin over playing with Brooke so

I told them, ok guys when RJ is home we need to

be quiet and calm, not so hyper he isnt in a good mood.

Brooke asked why and I told them and then Kylee

whispered in their ears something and they went off to

color. I thought she was just keeping them busy.

They went looking around the house for treats.

these pages had candy taped all over them.

when I saw what they had done I let it all go

and started to cry. (I was doing ok up

untill then) I have great little nieces and

nephews and my kids too obviously. The little things

in life are what really matter. I am so glad I have

all these children in my life, they make it worth living!!!

When Austin was a baby him and RJ were the

best of buddies! Austin was always sleeping

over at our house he would get his shoes and

bottle and say bye, bye mommy, take RJs

hand and walk out the door with us!

and here is Kylee's note, she must be a Northridge

fan sliver and burgandy are her favorite colors :)

she is a sweet girl and so good to my kids.

I am grateful for all she does for us!

Hunter Hartley's Polynesian Performance

Ken had gas so we didn't let him sit by us.

haha just kidding he was on call so if he

needed to leave he wouldnt disturb the show :)

I dressed the girls for the occasion!

I have a big kahuna outfit for Carson but

its size 18 months.

When Olivia is actually smiling for the

camera I take lots of pictures cause it

doesn't happen often and look

how cute she is!

So as we were leaving Brooke said something about

needing to go pee and Olivia got upset and said,

"I don't know, I'm not a Doctor!"

haha it was so funny so out of nowhere!

This group was so cute the little one on the right is

only 2 years old!

olivia got some skinny jeans,

so most likely spider bites, the one on her foot got big

and swollen this picture is after 1 week!

I did this cute braid on Olivia and she was being

I was so proud of myself making a fresh strawberry

pie from scratch then I decorated it with my

own style, kid friendly :)

Everyone loves these cookies!

This was Carsons first try and he SCARFED

it big time! It was gone in 2 min or less!

Brooke is superwoman!

I am so proud of her healthy eating habits

this is what she chose for breakfast cherrios

with banana, raspberries and blueberries!

this is one of her Favorite dinners!

Salmon (olive oil, salt and pepper oh and lemon is all)

rice, peas, cucumber, pineapple and blueberries.

She is a produce LOVER!

I can't tell even express how proud it makes me when

we drive past a "farmers market" -produce stand-

and Brooke begs please mom can we stop please

please! and she wants everything!

But we pass a McDonalds and there is nothing

its silent! She never asks me to stop there!

We do have treats and go out don't think Im a strict

no fun mom. But the fact that she is doing this all

on her own makes me so happy and proud!

Dentist adventure for Brooke.

We got to the dentist and to our surprise...

Hunter and Jerren had the appointments

right before Brooke!

so we thought it was cool all their names

were there on the board together!

She is so excited to be able to put 3 teeth in her

tooth fairy pillow tonight! thats right 3!!!

The dentist had to pull 3 in order for the second

row of teeth to grow into the right spots.

We started out the day at a fundraiser.

My friend and our life long family friends the (Love

Family)so my friend Holly Love her sisters little 4 yr old

Faye was diagnosed with lukemia.

They put on a great fundraiser and we had a lot of

fun out there. We have so much love for the whole

Love family and wish the best for sweet little Faye!

4th of July time!

since we had so much fun last year

We went to a movies and Brooke was chewing on her

strings on her shorts and it knocked her tooth loose

then the next day she ate corn on the cob and it

I think it came out easy because she had started to

grow a second row of teeth. That is the back row

She was so sweet she said ohh mom

I wish Grandpa were here, this is such a

special time for me. Then she said ohh well

maybe he will come visit after the toothfairy

has come :) I said you know what I bet he will!

chooses her Birthday parties AT LEAST 6 months

in advance every year this is just too funny and

has been so fun for Brooke!

to go there for his birthday dinner but he found out

that Brooke wanted to go too so he waited till the

recitle and went when we went!

These girls are so fun, I can't imagine

life without them!

Deer in our yard, I never see them in the mountains

but they have been in our own back yard like 4 times

already this year.

ohhh she is so cute, it's a good thing too cause she

can be quite the stinker!!! LOVE her to pieces!

One time while she was over at Grandma Karens

Grandma Jackie came over to visit and she threw a pillow

at Olivia and Olivia got mad and said No Jackie, time out

took her by the hand and walked her to the chair

)where Grandpa Ross puts Olivia in time out when they

are over there.) Told her to sit down, and then said

3 Minuets!!!

Grandma Jackie did her 3 minuets and never threw

a pillow again hahaha!

Carsons EEG at Primary Childrens

Carson has been some little tremors or

seizures. They sent us to Primary's to

get an EEG done to try and rule out seizures

but told us that it still could be seizures even

if it doesn't show up on the test. So he

had to be sleep deprived so I had to have

RJ take the day off work and I sat in the back seat

with Carson and sang songs and tickled him

all the way to salt lake. He was so tired he would

close his eyes and laugh when I was being silly

it was so sad, yet so funny.

so they hook up 26 (I think it was) wires

to his little head and then have him sleep and

do different tests. Well the computer had a virus

and froze and so when they re-booted he did

a little shake, not a long one but the nurse did see it

so anyways the test came back clean and the next step

is blood and urine in a month.

so what happens to him looks like a little

shiver but some times they last longer and

his eyes roll in the back of his head and

it takes him a min to snap back into life.

so that is what is scary.

One time he had 9 in a row went out of it

and then snapped back and said DADADADA

the Dr thinks he will be ok and just be something

he will grow out of but we need to do the tests

and rule out some more things still.

The nurses LOVED Carson and they went and

got him a little toy car/motorcycle and then

they were like go get him a blanket to go home with

and then the one nurse was like look at his shirt there

is a blanket in there that would match his outfit go get that

so they got a blanket to match him (not what he is wearing now)

it was a little monkey onsie outfit!

He loved it and I love Primary Childrens!!!!

The story was they were planning a surprise party

for Minnie it was her birthday and it happened to

be Brookes birthday so Brooke thought that was

just THE BEST! and they sang happy birthday so

she got to be sung to a lot it was great! ohh

and it was all set up to the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

show so they would do things and call for toodles.

OHHHH TOODLES, and my girls espically Olivia just

loved that part. Then there was a part where the room

was really quiet cause they were looking for something

and Olivia stands up and screams OHHHH TOODLES

OHHHHHHHH TOOOODDLLLESSS

hahahaha it was so cute, good thing we were at Disneyland

and the majorty of people love little kids there :)

can I just say it was SO worth the money!

everyone got a souvenir cup with lemonade,

a souvenir party hat, a cake to decorate,

and a prize sticker.

he said I don't think I have ever seen this color before

(she mixed them all) he said we will have to name it

after you and he said something like, Brookes

Mr Pat A Cake came and sat at our table and chatted

with us for like 5 min. He took out some balls and things

and was doing magic tricks for the kids.

Can I just tell you how much fun we had at this party!

I will never forget this day and how much

fun this was and how special they made the

birthday girl feel, Disneyland is the best!!!

She wanted to open a gift at the party, so I brought

one in the park too

I got one of these for Olivia at the Disney

outlet in Vegas, last time because we spent

her real birthday in Disneyland

so when we decided to come back for Brookes

I had to search online and find another (Vegas outlet,

said they didn't have any more)

and I found one and so they both have it!

This is like the parade for the off season. Everyone hops

its so hard to capture fireworks on my dinky camera

Birthday Dinner at Cheesecake Factory, notice the

Mac n Cheese dinner untouched... they were SO tired

she was falling asleep so I just asked the waiter to bring a box

and her dessert asap so she can blow out her candles,

RJ and I ate back at the hotel but Im glad she got to

get her way cute cheesecake!

She was happy about it, so thats all that matter

so this got flipped, I have no idea how

but they decorate the plate, how cute is that!

ohh yes that is a big piece! lots of whip cream for mom ;)

then they have them do a princess pose

I'm still not getting the blogging cause I dont know how the pictures got this way

but hey it works for this part, "Punzel" as Liv calls her and RIDER as Liv

yells it haha were so fun and sweet!

just smiled so I said yup she did and he said

you just get a drink right away and they talked

to her a bit and then they saw Olivia sleeping in the

stroller and they said ohh I see you have another

Princess with you Sleeping Beauty I see, you mind if we

get a picture with her and I said sure and they came and grabbed

the stroller walked her over and Hatter said Alice I think we

should Join her, shall we and Alice said ohh yes....

so they squatted down and took a little rest with her.

Oh my goodness they were too much!

I can't express how much fun we had and how

much I just love Disneyland!

Brooke LOVED her makeover and her new long hair

she kept playing with it all day. People would laugh and

laugh and come up to us and say we have just enjoyed

watching her play with her hair. She is beautiful.

she would pull it to the front and softly comb it with her fingers

then flip it over her shoulders and tilt her head back and let it

flow, I mean real dramatic like, it was so funny! She would twirl

and twirl and the workers would say hello Princess and she

would tell me, mom they think Im a real princess!

This is what Disneyland is about! This makes me so happy

as a mother to see my kids so happy. I really hope we will always

be able to afford to come to Disney once a year. It is the best

family vacation, I mean don't get me wrong Hawaii is

totally where I belong but when it comes to going as a family

and having a blast, making memories to last a lifetime.

Disneyland is the place! -hopefully Hawaii will sneek its way

in there a time or too aslo though- hahaha

ohhh ya its that exciting!!!

So we got annual passes this year and there was a contest

for pass holders only to get a sneek peek on the new ride

of star tours. So it happened to be going on the time we

would be there for Brookes birthday and guess what I won

3 tickets! So we did baby swap with Brooke and we each got

to go and take her! It was really fun, RJ loved it, I have no idea

star wars stuff so it didn't mean much to me but it was fun still hahaha!

We did make it home at about 2 in the morning.

Good thing RJ was driving I would never had

made it! Such a fun trip, one I will never

The cake! I designed it then had Wal-mart

tornado for the Wizard of Oz party!!!

Brooke sat down and told all the kids the

story of the Wizard of Oz since most of them

haven't ever seen it. She went into so much

detail and was so dramatic I couldn't help

but laugh the whole time. She would yell at

the kids and tell them to sit back down if they

got up to leave hahaha

well what do you know, she opened the

DVD first haha

new clothes, barbie DVDs, a Tiana doll

a little mermaid bath time toy,

Wizard of oz notebook and pen

and a Dorothy figurine,

so random gold shoes!

she loves to walk in her big sisters shoes

Kylee got a BIG hug for her gift that her

family gave.

She loves Grandpa Ross

after presents we started out in oz-land

and the little munchkins (cousins) and Dorothy

(brooke) had to follow the yellow brick road and stop

when they find each one of Dorothys friends and we

have to do a little game to get to bring each

character along with us to the end.

so they all hopped on the yellow brick road and

we went out looking and came upon the scarecrow

we had to stop and help him get a brain.

We played a memory match game, to help him

learn how to use your mind! We matched things from the

movie like toto and his basket and Dorothy and the

ruby slippers or Munchkins and lollipops!

ya so these loaded backwards, grr anyways

the kids loved it!

if they got a match they got a thing of

smarties, whoever had the most

smarties (matches) got a package of nerds

-so smart they are a nerd-

the one who got none got some air heads!

The next stop we found was the tin man

and he needed a heart

So we played pin the heart on the tin man

we have such good sports with the older nieces

and nephews

McCall did it all on her own and it was SO cute to see

her on her tip toes trying to reach up there and

put the heart on!

our next stop was to the lion for a bit

of courage! I had a hard time trying to

think of a game for courage so I decided

to do a fear factor type game. You had to

have the courage to eat weird things!

everybody drew a number and then they had to eat what

was under the number they drew

Kena went first and had one of the worst!

she had the slugs which were choc. covered

green beans!

I cant really tell what Hunter had

Olivia had night crawler which was sour worms

rolled in honey dipped in crushed oreos

Olivia loved them

Jerren had dirty Q-tip which was a sucker stick

with mini mallows on the ends then rolled

into melted butterscotch chips

Spencer had night crawlers too

Kyle had earth worms which was just gummy worms

in with chocolate pudding

Braden was not sure about this. He got

the snot! It was pistachio pudding

Mat wanted to try them all! He is awesome :)

so I didnt know how to pick a winner on this game so

I came up with see who can keep a lemon in the longest

so wouldn't ya know everyone else loves it but my little Brookie

and they kept them in for forever. I had to have them

do another game cause no one was spitting them out! so I said

whoever eats it first

all of them tried to eat it! It was nuts those kids are crazy!

and so did Brinley

Hunter was actually first to eat it and he won

a GIANT chocolate coin that I made into

the lions badge of courage (my mom has

a photo I will post after all these pic of mine)

For the last activity we took the wicked witch outside

and everyone got a water gun and we all "melted" her!

so now we helped all of Dorothys friends and

killed the wicked witch now its time to try and get

back to Kansas. I was telling them that Dorothy (brooke)

needs to stand in the middle of the room and everyone stand

around her and she will tap her ruby red slippers and

say there's no place like home 3 times.

On the 3rd time I had 4 adults with confetti shooters

all send them off at the same time

here she is preparing to say no place like home

and bang! Here we are back in Kansas!

and now time for Cake!!!

Little buddy was sick sick

High fever and lethargic for 3 or so days

when I did end up calling the dr he said

ok watch it come in if its not better by tomorrow

So we went in the next day he still had high fever

and lethargic but no obvious symptoms of any kind

he did a couple tests and then guess what the

next day he was just fine! Isn't that the way it

seems to work once you take them to the doctor

then they are all better.

ohh and in this picture he layed there on the floor

like that for over an hour. He liked the warm tile

I think(mom has radiant heat). So sad :(
